STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
Job Description
- Lead/design the structure with experience in designing high-rise buildings.
- Develop design plans and run Etabs models, providing optimal design solutions.
- Survey, design, and review structural designs for civil and industrial construction projects.
- Calculate and check the load-bearing capacity of reinforced concrete and steel structures. Knowledge of calculating prestressed slabs, box slabs, transfer beams, etc. is an advantage. Prepare overall and detailed drawings of the project.
- Review or develop construction methods for excavation wall bracing.
- Prepare design specifications and structural calculation specifications for the project/project components.
- Participate in reviewing structural design documents when requested by the Head of the Structural Engineering Department.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil and industrial engineering, preferably from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, Hanoi University of Architecture, etc.
- 5 years of experience, preferably with a Level I or professional certification.
- Proficient in using Autocad 2D, Kata, Sap 2000, Etab, Plaxis, Adap, Proko, Revit, etc.
- Thorough understanding of design standards and regulations, construction law, and implementing guidelines.
- Strong teamwork skills, ability to coordinate well with other departments, and willingness to work overtime when requested by the department head.
- Proactive in work. Skills in time management, quality management, and progress management.
- Creativity and ability to propose innovative ideas in the workplace.
